In the metallurgical, steel pipe, papermaking and rubber manufacturing industries, large-size roller workpieces have extremely strict requirements on load capacity, processing rigidity and dimensional repeat accuracy. Conventional ordinary lathes cannot bear long-term heavy cutting and large-diameter blank turning tasks, which is why we independently developed this heavy-duty roller lathe as the core equipment of our roller processing product portfolio.
This heavy-duty Roller Lathe adopts an integrally cast thickened rigid bed body, high-torque main drive motor and imported CNC control system. Its self-aligning heavy-duty chuck can stably clamp super-long and super-heavy roller blanks, effectively avoiding vibration and tool jumping during processing, and greatly improving the surface finish of finished roller products.
During this on-site test, our senior technicians followed the standardized inspection process. They completed multi-step processing links including rough turning of roller outer circle, finish turning of cylindrical surface, chamfering of roller end face and circular runout precision detection. After continuous 8-hour non-stop heavy cutting test, all dimensional tolerance, concentricity and surface roughness data fully met international industrial precision standards.
